This 24”x24” piece played a crucial role in the evolution of my art. I almost reached a breaking point while creating this piece because it pushed the limits of what my art normally represented aesthetically. It was a real scene and memory that not everyone has the pleasure of witnessing in their lifetime. When I completed this painting, I started to cry because I persevered through the fear of unknown, creating something better than what I envisioned in my own mind. I call it an evolution because I learned new skills and reached new heights.
